Some “electromagnetic fields (EMFs)… are naturally generated, for instance by the sun, the earth or even our own bodies… [There are also artificial electromagnetic fields which are] produced by household appliances, power lines, power transformers, electrical substations, mobile phones, etc” (Pascual, p. 29). The UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) state that “EMFs arise whenever electrical energy is used” (n.p), and that “it has been known for a long time that exposure of people to high levels of EMFs can give rise to acute effects” (n.p). The UK Government HSE website then explains that low frequency EMFs affect the central nervous system, while high frequency EMFs lead to a rise in body temperature. Luckily the last line on the HSE website reassures us by telling us that “these effects are extremely rare and will not occur in most day-to-day work situations” (n.p). If you still had any concerns about public safety, the Council Recommendation of July 12th, 1999 states that “it is imperative to protect members of the general public… against established adverse health effects that may result as a consequence of exposure to electromagnetic fields” (I.199/59, 4). Interestingly, this document confirms that only the Community can propose action towards the protection of the public from non-ionising radiation (I.199/59, 5) and that any action must not interfere with the “quality of life, in such areas as telecommunications, energy and public security” (I.199/59, 7). But the EMFs are produced by WiFi telecommunication cells and public security monitoring cameras, so we are stuck in a vicious cycle!
Gabriel Domenech Pascual explains that electromagnetic radiation produces an electromagnetic field “which can be viewed as the combination of an electric field and a magnetic one…” (p. 29). Pascual’s article examines scientific studies which analyzed the effects of electromagnetic fields on human health. These studies concluded that electromagnetic fields cause an “overheating of the body when located in the direct radiation field” (p. 29) leading to a harmful impact on human health. Thermal effects are not the only concern as non-thermal effects have shown to increase the risk of cancer.
Dr. Goldsworthy, a retired lecturer from Imperial College London, further discusses the effects of “electromagnetic fields from cell phones, cordless phones and WiFi” (p. 1) in his article The Biological Effects of Weak Electromagnetic Fields. He adds to the list of effects on human and animal health by including “damage to glands resulting in obesity and related disorders, chronic fatigue, autism, increases in allergies and multiple chemical sensitivities, early dementia, DNA damage, [and] loss of fertility” (p. 1). Goldsworthy explains that non-ionising electromagnetic fields “generate alternating currents that flow through cells and tissues… [removing] structurally-important calcium ions from cell membranes” (p. 1) making them weak.
In order to keep humanity safe from these electromagnetic fields, the International Non-Ionizing Radiation Committee (ICNIRP), in 1998, “published several documents stating that exposure to electromagnetic fields should not exceed… 300 GHz… (although) interference with pacemakers may occur at levels below (this)” (Pascual, p.32). So if the electromagnetic fields from 5G don’t exceed the maximum 300 GHz then we are safe, aren’t we?
Nicole writes that the 5G frequency band stretches from 30 GHz to 300 GHz, the maximum safety limit issued by the ICNIRP. Nicole states that the 5G base stations are known as ‘small cells’ which “emit high-frequency millimeter radio waves, which give them a limited range” and therefore the number of towers required has to increase compared to the previous 4G cells. Nicole references numerous studies on radio frequency (RF) radiation such as the Stockholm Study, where an apartment was deemed unliveable due to the dangerously high RF radiation recorded. Another study Nicole discusses is the Buchner and Eger Study in 2004 Rimbach, Germany, where urine samples were taken from 60 individuals comparing their levels of noradrenaline, adrenaline, dopamine, and phenylethylamine (PEA) before and after the activation of a 2G cell phone base station. After the first six months, the individuals were tested again to reveal “a significant increase in the stress hormones noradrenaline and adrenaline” (n.p.). According to Goldsworthy, this adrenalin rush significantly increases “headaches, memory loss, dizziness, tremors and poor sleep” (p. 9). He states that electromagnetic intolerance symptoms include skin rashes, cardiac arrhythmia, dizziness, and nausea (p. 11).
Goldsworthy proves that extremely low frequencies (ELF’s), lying between 6Hz and 600Hz, are also harmful as they produce “damaging biological effects, as measured by calcium release from brain slices and ornithine decarboxylase production in tissue cultures” (p. 3). Goldsworthy states that “the evidence that alternating electromagnetic fields can have non-thermal biological effects is now overwhelming” (p. 3).
Doreen Agostino transcribes an interview with Nick Pineault who tells us that 7.83 Hertz is the main resonance measured in the cavity between the earth and the lower edge of the ionosphere. This frequency of electromagnetic waves was first termed ‘The Schumann Resonance’ in 1965 after Winfried Otto Schumann published numerous papers about extremely low frequency waves (ELF) becoming excited by lightning discharges (Besser). “7.83 Hertz is the main frequency of the human brain… and all life around us” (Agostino, n.p). There are numerous studies from NASA and Russian astronauts showing how human organs and vision slowly degenerates above the ionosphere, in the absence of the Schumann Resonance. “We have a lot of semiconduction in our body… we have nonlinear junction, [and] nonlinear electronic elements in our body” (Agostino, n.p).
WiFi signals are pulsed with a frequency of 10 Hz and frequency pulling, an electronic term, occurs where the closed, 10 Hz wireless frequency, is overpowering your natural alpha waves, 7.83 Hz, and de-tuning your brain (Agostino, n.p). This demodulated 10 Hz WiFi signal will kick the brain out of tune. Apart from frequency pulling, Nick Pineault discusses other concerns such as mixed frequencies, which is not only the sum of but also the difference between the frequencies. All of this manipulation leaves the brain in a confused state as to which frequency to tune into. Pineault explains that we have so many artificial signals it is as though our natural Earth frequencies are being jammed. The effects on the body from continuous frequency pulling, mixing, or jamming are not fully known, but it is known that the body senses these variations and has little if any time to regenerate from them.
“The heart is about 100 times stronger electrically, and up to 5,000 times stronger magnetically than the brain… and produces a magnetic field that’s detectable up to several feet” (Agostino, n.p). With regards to 5G, Pineault states that the radiation emitted may be less than the previous 4G, but the “units of radiation can have a potential of 10,000 times… [when it comes to] how jamming this signal is to human biology, but no one is studying exactly how, so the industry can get away with it” (Agostino, n.p).
Dr. Goldsworthy is concerned that the governments and health authorities are “doing nothing to protect us” from the non-thermal effects on our cells, organs, and tissues (p. 1). “One may also expect that scientists who obtain monetary or reputational benefits from some interests groups will tend to give opinions and recommendations biased in favour of these groups” (Pascual, p. 35). In other words, Pascual is warning us that the funders of research programs, experiments, recruitment to write briefs, or participants in public debate can be manipulated or specifically chosen to sway a conclusion in favour of the funding company or individual instead of the safety of public health.
Could 5G be dangerous to our health and why are we are not being warned of these dangers? In Behold A Pale Horse, Milton William Cooper writes that “energy is recognized as the key to all activity on earth. Natural science is the study of the sources and control of natural energy, and social science, theoretically expressed as economics, is the study of the sources and control of social energy” (p. 39). Cooper explains that science is a collection of knowledge with the aim of controlling (p. 39). In 1954, the Bilderberg Group, quietly declared a silent war on people who did not use their intelligence. The objective was to permanently shift the “social energy (wealth) of the undisciplined and irresponsible many into the hands of the self-disciplined, responsible, and worthy few” (p. 39). In order to achieve this, they sought the control of the lower-classes, through “long-term social duties from a very early age, before they have an opportunity to question” (p. 40). Lower-income families were subject to increasing preoccupation of the parents and low-quality education became essential to maintain “some measure of social order, peace, and tranquillity for the ruling upper class” (p. 40). The weapons became “situations, instead of bullets… (which cause) unmistakable physical and mental damage… (as these) interfere with daily social life” (p. 40). When applied gradually, the public adapts to the silent weapon of biological warfare, until the psychological pressure becomes “too great and they crack up” (p. 41). Many of the situations created are used by the media to divert attention away from the real social issues. By keeping real law and history out of schools and keeping the public busy enough they have no time to think and question the truth for themselves (p. 57). The success of this silent war is measured psychologically. Cooper says that “when the government is able to collect tax and seize private property without just compensation, it is an indication that the public is ripe for surrender and is consenting to enslavement and legal encroachment” (p. 58). When did the public consent to the roll-out of 5G and where is the Health and Safety documentation to prove that public health is not at risk?
Is the implementation of 5G solely a means for large corporations to make further profit at the detrimental expense of our physical health and our environment? Why has there been little communication with the general public about the installation and location of these small cells?
